The Takeo Dressco Paper Notebook S takes everything good about a proper stationery notebook and shrinks it to pocket size. The cover is a single sheet of Takeo’s own coloured fine paper — thin, surprisingly tough and lovely to the touch — while 128 stitch-bound pages of bank paper open flat and take a fountain pen or pencil cleanly.
Two cover papers give each colour its own feel: a smooth bank stock and a laid Spica bond with a gentle ribbed grain. At 106.5 by 152 millimetres it slips into a coat pocket or the back of a diary, ready for the note you would otherwise lose on a scrap of paper. Small enough to go everywhere, and good enough that you’ll want it to.
