The mt x SOU.SOU Iroiro Washi Tape scatters its numerals across a white ground in a full spread of colour, with no two neighbours quite matching. Iroiro means assorted, and the roll is entirely faithful to the name. A single 15mm roll of Japanese washi paper, printed by mt to a design from the Kyoto house SOU.SOU.

It becomes the roll you use most, because it goes with everything else you already own. The washi is thin and matt, tears square between finger and thumb, and comes away from the page without a fight. Ink dries on it quickly enough to write and close the notebook.
