Hobonichi 2027 Accessories: Yoshie Watanabe – Cover on Cover for A5 Size (Dotted Plaid)

The Cover on Cover for A5 Size (Dotted Plaid) is the decorated version of the Cover on Cover, an optional extra covering that goes directly over your A5 techo cover to protect it from wear and tear over the course of the year, while instantly giving solid-colour covers like the Colors series a fresh new look.

The Dotted Plaid design was created by art director Yoshie Watanabe. It is a simple yet beautiful design in which dots are arranged in an evenly spaced grid to form a plaid-like pattern.

The dots are silkscreen-printed in four colours — white, green, blue and pink — with vivid, vibrant results. No matter what colour techo cover you pair it with, the design always looks fresh and striking.

To let you fully enjoy the illustrated design, this version does not have a slit for the outer pocket of the cover.

This Cover on Cover has been specially measured for the A5 Cousin Colors and printed covers with butterfly stoppers. Leather covers, faux leather covers and covers made of thick fabric are not suitable, as the fit may affect the colour or quality of the material.

Yoshie Watanabe creates work with a unique worldview, including fashion designs for CACUMA, a brand she launched with Hobonichi, as well as package designs for AUDREY, G Butters’ and CARAMEL MONDAY. She works on art direction, product design and spatial direction, and is active across a wide range of fields as part of the creative unit KIGI.
